These tender all butter scones, made fresh daily, come in a variety of flavors changing seasonally.
Individual 4" quiche are served every day at the bakery. This traditional breakfast item is made with a flaky all-butter crust. The quiche highlights seasonal ingredients. Flavors change each day and have included asparagus/gruyere, mushroom/chive/cheddar, Lorraine, and caramelized onion/goat cheese in the past. 4" quiche are $6.00 each. Quiche are available for special order only in the traditional 9" size and cost $28.00 each.
An old-fashioned buttermilk biscuit filled with butter and homemade preserves. $2.75 each.
Vanilla yogurt, our homemade granola and fresh fruit. A perfect way to start your day. $5.00 each.
Sour cream coffee cake with a cinnamon-cocoa swirl and a brown sugar / pecan crumb topping. $2.50 per slice or $33.00 for whole Coffee Cake Loaf.
Flavors are Lemon/Almond/Poppy Seed and Banana / Date / Walnut. Only available by the slice at the bakery for $2.50 each. Available whole by special order. $33.00 gets you a 15" X 4" loaf.
All of our cakes are round, 3-layer cakes. 6" cakes serve 6-8 people and cost $32.00. 8" cakes serve 12 - 14 people and cost $45.00. 10" cakes serve 18 - 22 people and cost $62.00. We require 48 hours notice for all special orders. Inscriptions can be added to any cake at no extra charge. All cakes come with a signature decoration but can be changed to a simple floral or poka dot decor for a small upcharge. Cakes are also served by the slice at the bakery for $5.00 and flavor options change daily.
This devil's food cake is layered with a sea salt infused caramel and rich ganache and covered in a whipped chocolate buttercream icing.
This rich chocolate cake is layered and topped with a fresh brewed espresso buttercream. Then we pour a rich chocolate glaze over the top and finish it with chocolate covered espresso beans.
Red Hook Red Velvet
A southern buttermilk cake with a hint of cocoa, layered and covered with a light vanilla buttercream. Named after Mitch and Kristine’s favorite Brooklyn neighborhood.

All of our pies and tarts are available for special order. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Pies are a traditional 9" size and each cost $28.00. Our tarts come in a fluted 9" size and each cost $32.00.

Our hot chocolate also comes from New York. We are honored to serve Jacques Torres hot chocolate at Queen City Bakery. This incredible hot chocolate tastes like you're drinking melted chocolate! You have to taste it to believe it.
All of our hot and iced tea comes from Long Island, NY. SerendipiTea is one of the finest tea houses on the east coast. They offer a varying array of teas and tisanes and we are proud to have it here in South Dakota.
